Established in 1973, the FIA WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP (WRC) is widely regarded as the most challenging motorsport championship in the world. In 2023, the roads on this epic motorsport adventure are spread across 13 rallies on everything from snow packed forest tracks to rock-strewn mountain passes. The WRC Promoter GmbH is responsible for all commercial aspects of the WRC since 2013. These include the worldwide commercialization of media and sponsoring rights as well as the production of TV formats for all rallies across the WRC calendar.

Through its aligned company Rallycross Promoter GmbH this position will also work for the promotion of FIA World Rallycross Championship and the FIA European Rallycross Championship.

Across its portfolio of championships, in 2024 and beyond WRC Promoter will be responsible for over 30 major motorsport events per year, spread throughout the world, and involving a large number of automotive, broadcast and commercial stakeholders.

Our Marketing & Sales department is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Manager Brand Partnerships with a strong network and proven track record in sponsorship and brand partnerships.

Expanding Business 

  • Identify and approach potential sponsors and brand partners to secure new business opportunities.

Execution 

  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to existing and potential clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize sponsorship and brand partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with the WRC, ERC and RX brands.

Building Success

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams to ensure the successful execution and activation of the partnerships.
Das zeichnet dich aus:

Beschreibe die Qualifikationen, die der Bewerber mitbringen sollte:

University degree or commercial training with relevant professional or educational development. 

Min. 5 years sales experience, specifically in sponsorship and brand partnerships, preferably in the motorsport industry.

Fluent in English and German – additional languages an advantage.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.

Proactive and results driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to create win-win partnerships.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Passionate about motorsport and familiar with the WRC, ERC and RX brands and values.
